Waste Basket Fire in Texarkana, TX

This warehouse fire was caused by a smoldering cigarette in a waste basket.  The damage was severe to not only the office the fire started in but several adjacent businesses.  A dance studio, a church and a swimming pool business were also affected.  SERVPRO of Texarkana cleaned the swimming pool business which only sustained smoke damage.  The remaining businesses required more detailed services such as tearing out all the affected drywall, ceiling tiles and flooring.  Large equipment was brought in for the cleaning of the ceiling grid and the tall ceilings.  SERVPRO of Texarkana was on site within 24 hours of this fire.  The complete service took 30 days for completion.
